With a choice of load volumes and payloads, Transit Cargo has what it takes to get the job done.
Across the Transit Cargo range, a full line-up of passive and active safety features make use of the latest technology to protect you, your passengers and your cargo.
Load Adaptive Control (LAC) adjusts the Dynamic Stability Control according to the overall weight your van is carrying. This is a particular advantage in a large van such as the Transit Cargo because it ensures control and stability whether your vehicle is unladen, partially or fully laden.
Hill Launch Assist temporarily prevents you rolling down a slope when making a hill start. The system works by maintaining pressure to the braking system for an extra 2.5 seconds, giving you more time and control as you move your foot from the brake pedal to accelerator. It works in forward and reverse gears, is ideal for towing and also when on slippery surfaces.
Roll-Over Mitigation is designed to identify and help prevent the likelihood of your vehicle rolling over. The system can detect if your van is starting to become unstable and by controlling both engine torque and individual wheel braking through DSC, the technology can help correct oversteer, effectively stabilising the situation.
